I am a professional jewelry artist with twenty years of experience in metalwork and beading, and a lifelong love of tiny treasures in all of their myriad forms. For the past decade I have worked in an amazing bead store that specializes in unique and collectible beads from around the world and throughout history. This project started with a Pre-Colombian goddess figure who one fine day decided she needed a gold necklace. I agreed, and made her one with 22karat gold and one tiny, tiny ancient carnelian bead. She loved it and I did too. From there I graduated to prayer beads for my statues.
Now, with the help of two friends who convinced me to make accessories for their dolls, I am super excited to share all these beautiful little things. The experience of making jewels for these beautiful doll people has given me new eyes. I have found that often a smaller bead tells a bigger story and holds more interest and energy than beads three times the size. In this grand world of dolls I see that finally the littlest things will get to shine and share their magic with a whole new world of people their own size! I hope you enjoy them...
